The new Renault Twingo E-Tech electric has been named “Value Car of the Year” at the 2026 News UK Motor Awards, adding another early award to Renault’s growing electric line-up before the car reaches UK roads in 2027.

Judges praised the Twingo for its retro-inspired design, clever packaging, attention to detail and accessible target price. With a target price of under £20,000, Renault is positioning the new Twingo as a compact electric city car that keeps things practical, affordable and full of personality.
