What I loved most about this place was HONESTY.James the sales manager was great, true professional. He answered all my questions and there was no pushy hard sales talk just straight talk which is rare nowadays.I picked my car up 3 weeks ago and I absolutely love it.I would recommend speaking to James if you are thinking about buying another car he will certainly give you all the information and honest advice that you require. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Very professional service. Very happy with my Daughter's new car. Picked it up fully serviced with a years MOT and valeted to showroom condition. James the sales manager is a very honest guy who sticks to his word,a pleasure to deal with. As we were travelling 180 miles to view the car we actually bought, we contacted James at Hardings and he sent us everything that put our mind at rest that the trip was going to be worthwhile.As it turned out, we were well pleased with the vehicle. The info and help from James was first class and he was very accommodating. Would recommend Hardings as a good car dealership.

I bought what I thought to be very nice laguna Coupe from Hardings, initially the service was good through the warranty, it needed the locks fixing and seat recline. However since then it have had to spend over 1000 for issues that have occurred in regards to the dpf and filters which should have been changed when it was "serviced" before sale. Its a real shame as on first glance they seemed really good

Been a customer of Hardings for over 5 years. Although they no longer hold a Renault authorised franchise for warranties etc, they service and MOT both our cars and the service is to a good standard. I have consistently found them helpful and friendly. The Service Manager Alex goes out of his way to make sure we're happy when we collect the cars.

Don't take notice of the negative reviews, it seems they like giving bad reviews everywhere!I don't trust anyone with my car and I find it particularly hard to be taken seriously by mechanics as I'm female. However and this is a big However, Hardings in Hemel Hempstead not only fixed my car, they didn't overcharge...in fact they did a fabulous job. My car roof works now (cabriolet) and the knocking noise from the engine is gone. Friendly staff, reasonable charges and a job well done in good timeWhat more could you want ?

Recently purchased a Renaultsport Megane...what a brilliant car and service.James was great from the start sending videos of the car prior to a test drive and detailed tour.Car prepped to a very high standard and a fair part exchange was given. Overall very pleased.

Would score zero if possible. Charged time and time again for faults that were never properly rectified. Escalated to Renault Customer Services who have instructed another dealership to take over. Unfortunately the brand doesn't live up to expectations, the dealership network doesn't live up to expectations. nearly 12 months on 1000's of pounds out of pocket and still not resolved.Avoid at all costs

Complete waste of time, unprofessional & rude organisation. This place is not even a Renault sales dealership, they don't tell you that however rater obvious when you get to their 1980's location. Went to buy a Renault for my 85 year old dad, had to travel for 3 hours in total only to get there to buy a car with a ripped seat, faulty heater and dodgy loose console. It was supposed to be a low mileage car, it was clearly not inspected and not fit for sale. He knew an old man was traveling over 100 miles but he could not care the slightest!!! Its places like this that give the trade a bad name...

Last month I took my car (Renault Clio) to the Hardings Renault garage after the clutch went and needed to be replaced. The clutch was replaced and I picked it up, and all seemed to be fine until 30 minutes into my journey (on the M25 at this point) when the clutch pad in my footwell lost all resistance and had effectively disconnected from the actual clutch in the hood. As a result, I had to stall to a stop on the M25 as I was unable to even change the gear to neutral. The car was then towed to a different garage closer to home where they identified that the clutch cable had been incorrectly fitted when the clutch was being replaced. This garage didn't charge me for the trouble as it was such an easy fix it was laughable. What is not laughable though is the fact the clutch cable was fitted incorrectly in the first place. This is a specialist Renault garage, and to have made such a basic error is inexcusable. It created a dangerous situation for both myself and other road users tat was completely unavoidable. I must say that when I called Hardings Renault to tell them that I had broken down, they told me to bring the car back to them so that they could look at the car and fix the problem. However, I did not do this as I did not trust them to complete any further work on the vehicle, and wanted to get it to a garage I could trust.

Very helpful staff, great communication before and after service work completed, step by step details of procedures performed and a bonus of a discount on wiper blades as staff thought genuine parts were too expensive in the first place......would use again no probs.
